How to Select a Custom Motor and Add Additional Details

You can add additional details using Add Notes or Comments Tab


You have the option to select a custom motor by navigating to the Motor tab and selecting Halifax Fan (Custom) from the Motor Supplied box. This allows you to specify the motor's details to ensure it meets your project requirements.


Follow these steps to select a Custom Motor:

  1. Navigate to the Motor Tab:
    • Open Fan Constructor and go to the Motor tab.
  2. Select Motor Supplied:
    • In the Motor Supplied dropdown, select Halifax Fan (Custom).
  3. Specify Motor Details:
    • Once Halifax Fan (Custom) is selected, you will be able to specify the following motor parameters:
      • Motor Phase: Select the phase type of the motor (e.g., single-phase or three-phase).
      • Voltage: Define the motor's voltage.
      • Frame Size: Choose the motor frame size based on your requirements.
      • Shaft Design: Specify the design of the motor's shaft to match the application
